As we step toward a new year, we wanted to share a little of what’s been unfolding here — and where we’re heading next.
Our intention for 2026 is simple: to really soak in the goodness of this place — the land, the horses, the quiet moments, the laughter — and let it refill the internal well of energy. For us, and for you. Whether you connect with Tula Vida through these blogs or by being here in person.
A few reflections from around the ranch
Looking back over the year, it’s amazing to see how much has come to life:
- We now have eleven guest rooms ready.
- A beautiful open air dining space where so many conversations unfold.
- Fire pits (if you’ve been, you know their names – yes they have names!)
- A stunning yoga deck surrounded by panoramic views.
- A growing garden that’s feeding us daily, alongside thousands of fruit trees across the land.
- Thriving pastures, with shelters and fencing for our incredible herd of 14 rescue horses
- And we’ve even started growing our own coffee — something we’re very excited to share with you in 2026.
The trails keep expanding, new quiet corners keep appearing, and the land continues to surprise us. We have rare birds, rare wildlife and rare flowers – a true oasis.
The horses are all doing well — with Cosmo and Beauty still receiving ongoing treatment and lots of care for their chronic injuries.
The humans behind the scenes
Eric is continuing to bring beauty to every corner of the ranch, turning vision into reality — and still heading off to the lake for world-class wing foiling conditions whenever he can.
Sally is deep in study around nervous systems and Internal Family Systems (check out our blogs on our new website), alongside being a full-time horse girl whenever possible.
Nora continues to be part of the rhythm here during the year, sharing her wisdom, experience, and steady support.
Shirley (& her team) are still creating magic in the kitchen & delighting everyone with tasty cultural dishes, and the ranch team are working hard to keep the property beautiful.
What’s coming up
January already feels full of energy, with workshops and beach rides, with more to come in February and March.
And in the exciting early planning stages (hopefully coming soon):
- A women’s leadership retreat
- A men’s outdoor adventure retreat
- An IFS with horses retreat
- A grief retreat
- A creative constellations retreat
- An Emotion Code retreat
- A new yoga retreat
- Plus more offerings that are still taking shape….
We’ll share more details of new offerings as things finalize — and as always, we’re letting the timing be guided by what feels aligned for everyone.
Thank you for being part of this community, for following along, and for allowing Tula Vida to be part of your world in whatever way feels right for you.
More soon — and we look forward to sharing the next chapter with you!
With warmth,
Sally, Eric & the Tula Vida horse and human crew
